The Sumter Opera House has served in many capacities in its 129 years — one of those being a Movie Theater. In keeping with our history and heritage, the Sumter Opera House is proud to bring our family-friendly Summer Movie Series back to the big screen!

Start the holiday season right with this Sumter Opera House movie tradition. Come in your favorite pajamas and enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies. Kids can write their wish list to Santa at our letter station. Then we will gather to watch The Polar Express!
