Join us on the Summer Solstice, the most light-filled day of the year, for an afternoon of music inspired by midsummer’s sense of wonder.

Featuring

Kara Grover, Heather Morrison, Mac Atkinson, Mark Burns, & Ben Martin

A Midsummer Serenade suspends the real and the imagined, moving between intimate art song and vibrant operatic ensembles. You’ll hear music by Amy Beach, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Johann Strauss II, along with pieces inspired by nature, folklore, and a little mischief. It’s simply an hour to slow down, listen, and enjoy the feeling of midsummer.

Ticket Information:

General Admission - $20
Cash/Check collections benefiting the new Sumter Opera House 501(c)(3) is appreciated.
